Rate each factor 1 (poor) to 10 (excellent). Impact: how much it could move the metric. Confidence: how sure you are it will work. Ease: how quick and cheap it is to build and run.
ICE score is simply the average of the three ratings, so it always lands between 1 and 10 and is easy to compare across ideas. It is a judgement tool, not a truth machine: the numbers only sharpen the conversation about where your next test should go. Once you have picked a winner, run it through the sample size and duration calculators so you know it is worth the wait before you launch.
